holiday-bread
nope! i didn’t bake this. this is one of the perks i get from staying a whole lot at Panera bread house. a free taste of their so-called holiday bread. it’s apple spiced filling is almost perfect, not so sweet and not sour either. but the the bread was a bit on the dry side, in my opinion. i’m not sure if i was just too accustomed to eating anything fall-apple goodies with soft pie doughs or crisp apple crisp. but i would prefer the bread to be more moist and less tough.

We all know that nowadays one do not need to spend a whole lot of time under the sun to get a nice tan. There is the luxury of a home tanning bed that does just that.  A tanning bed is a more convenient way to have that beautiful tan , be it summer or winter time.

baby-back-ribs
…it was a first for me, to eat at the famous Tad’s Steakhouse in Manhattan. imagine, we had to go on a trip back to NY before i finally had a taste of what the institution had to offer! and how i wish i can have more! the baby back ribs was oh so delicious and even the steaks were awesome! huge serving, perfectly grilled texture, coupled with java rice, garlic bread and salad. It definitely has a casual yet warm and cozy ambiance…no intimidation ekek whatsoever, plus the prices are just right.

Christmas is just around the corner and it’s like every stores in the mall this morning were playing Christmas carols. i am just so proud of myself today. with all the temptations around, I came out empty handed. well…almost. i just got the boy a pair of mittens and bonnet some pretzels from Auntie Anne’s for the kid’s snacks and used up a gift card at Forever21 for some bonnets for myself and S plus 2 shirts…i told you i was successful:]¬† i realized i missed shopping! hmmm….on my list is a zoom lens for my new toy. that’s not asking for too much right? i would ask for an LCD TV but that would be asking for war already, teehee!

spiCy-maki
…i missed eating Japanese food. and boy was i glad my cousin in New York ordered some sushi, maki, edamame and tempura when we went there during the weekend. yum! one more Japanese food i truly miss are those delicious takoyaki’s! i wonder where i can find one here:[…the short trip was really good for me personally.¬† after all that has happened lately, i needed that break.¬† everything has been so slow before that. it’s like i should have taken something to boost my appetite…my whole system in fact, like Ephedrasil hardcore. naahhh, the trip was good enough. i wonder when the next one would be and where, hehe!

Photobucket
There was a time during my younger days when I wore faux eye glasses. Call me a fashion victim of the current fad then, but I really liked how the pair looked on me. I even wore it during the deliberation of my college thesis and guess what? I think it helped even a bit! I got a 1.75 average grade! My daughter wears reading glasses already at the age of 10. Maybe it’s hereditary but definitely not from me. Probably from my brother and sister since up to this day, my eyes are as clear as it can ever be. But I still want to wear¬† fashionable eye glasses just like the one pictured. Doesn’t it look fabulous? Just the perfect Holiday frames found in this website. This is only one of the many choices there is. This style though screams me!¬† It is what I would imagine my next pair would be.¬† Red with rectangular and simple narrow size acetate full-rim frame. What’s more impressive is the price!¬† Can you believe it’s just $19?¬† Unthinkable, right? Believe it and see for yourself.¬† check out their website and start shopping.¬† With this low price, you can even get yourself one style or color for each day!

madumi-2
…taken this morning. a clean dashboard but a dirty windshield! lol!
[kaninang umaga, maski na kakalinis ko lang ng buong kotse kahapon, heto ang dumi na agad ng salamin sa harapan!...isama pa ang bakas ng lamig sa labas, haaaay!]

madumi-1
…can you see the dirt on my side view mirror?
[heto pa, ang salamin sa aking kaliwa, madumi dumi na rin hindi ba?]

madumi-3
…now, you can’t deny how dirty that mirror is!
[...e ito? pinakamaduming salamin! hindi ang mukha ha:] kuha naman ito mga ilang buwan na ang nakararaan. pero hindi naman inabot ng ganun katagal mula ng huli akong naglinis ng sasakyan hehe!]

It has been more than 2 years since we last had a Florida vacation. This is what we are seriously considering when we take advantage of hubby’s next annual leave, to go back and visit where the sun never sleeps. teehee! We were so lucky enough to have been given 9 days in total last time and spending it at Sheraton, Orlando. But I have been wanting to get the Kissimmee vacation homes then. Unfortunately there were no available slots for my sister-in-laws time share then. I prefer these kinds of accommodations than hotels because one can actually cook since they have kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms aside from the 2-3 bedrooms. My kids still reminisce about that vacation especially because of the swimming pool amenities and the jacuzzi inside the master’s bedroom. There are also other fantastic choices around the sun state and so we might consider those too like this Siesta Key beach vacation rentals which boasts of a sun-kissed beach apart from all the luxurious amenities that come with the package. For this upcoming trip, we are also considering some other states that we haven’t been to yet so I am also checking out other accommodation options like the Breckenridge condos in Colorado, which looks like a very interesting state to visit as well.

WW-Saint-Patrick's-Cathedral
…other than visiting the cathedral every time I get to go back to New York, i also make it a point to take a shot of the magnificent church from outside. and almost always, at this same spot! the most recent was last august and so it was more sunny and brighter. both literally and figuratively…during that time though, they were still setting up or starting to construct that additional lighted eaves around it. now it’s all done or almost.¬† and in my opinion, it’s a great added feature to the neo-gothic structure…a bit more of a modern touch, i must say.

PhotobucketI feel like I want to get married again. I am here at Panera bread house and listening to that classic wedding song. It’s so nostalgic. Oh well…but if I were to get married again, I would like my wedding ring to be in a different finish. Instead of my gold one, I would have it in titanium. I guess I am giving away my age, huh? But really, if given the chance, it would look like the one pictured on the left…either one of those. My wedding ring has the same stone setting but it’s not a flat band like this. I want those wedding rings that has a simple yet modern touch. Just like this, the outside and inside edges should be completely rolled with a soft appearance for easy everyday wear, mine isn’t. So to date, I have lost a couple of stones already while playing golf! hehe! Not a good idea, I know. That’s not counting the ones my husband lost too. Now that titanium ring would really go well with those titanium bracelets, right? I found this website that offers both titanium and tungsten varieties and I got intrigued with the black tungsten rings they have as well.
So for your wedding ring shopping or any occasion, at that… go browse their over 120 new and classic wedding ring styles such as titanium rings, tungsten rings, wedding bands with gold, platinum and diamond inlays, titanium necklace, crosses, bracelets and chains.
