the day after black friday

outlet
…this is the ‘line’ i was talking about in my previous post. i do not understand why there has to be one just to get inside the store…the ‘more important’ store at that. teehee! one other store that has this same long queue was UGG. although once inside COACH, I somehow understood why…they really had huge mark downs! unfortunately we didn’t have that much patience to get into another long line for UGG, not to mention we weren’t bundled up properly to stay that long outside…and so up until now i am trying to understand the reason for such brouhaha plus the fact that i really wanted to get myself a black pair! awwww!

triple bundle

Monday, December 1st, 2008

Banner__bf08_300x250_googleWe moved here in Massachusetts less than a year ago now but I still remember that a big part of the most annoying areas of it all was hooking up everything from electricity, cable, internet and telephone line. I even used to stay at Panera everyday just to get my internet cravings satisfied during the time I didn’t have connection yet. After all those months, we remembered recently that we were promised a video camera as part of the triple bundle that we got from Verizon. To make the long story short, the promised video camera did not arrive up until this day and they were saying we did not qualify since we got connected at a later date than the promotion was on. I don’t think so and we have the respective bills and documents to prove this.

That being said, I am almost convinced to move our services to Charter Communications wireless internet with excellent broadband connection. What with their on-going promotion starting from black friday, together with the best deal and discounts on internet, TV and phone service bundle plus one gets a free $250 GIFT card! That is not all, you even get a chance to win an X-Box 360 game console!

For one week only, Charter is offering their Ultimate Service Bundle for only $165.97! Get 10 Mbps High Speed Internet service, Digital Home TV with Charter HD that includes Sports View, Digital View, HBO/Cinemax, Starz/Encore, and Showtime/The Movie Channel, plus unlimited calling on your phone service.

getting married?

Monday, December 1st, 2008

My younger brother who now resides in Canada with his wife has had plans of getting married in church for quite some time now. In fact it was supposedly set this December or the next. They have even had instructions on their wedding rings, unfortunately the instructions were given to my late mom. Anyway, I am not making this post another sad one…so to go straight to my point, I am referring them to check out this particular site that carries a variety of wedding rings, wedding bands, which I personally prefer and even diamond rings for the engagement ring.  So if you happen to be preparing for your own wedding too, browse the perfect ring style at Blue Nile which is the largest online retailer of certified diamonds, engagement rings and other fine jewelry and for those wives who celebrating their anniversaries soon, just like me [heehee!] send the link to your husbands a.s.a.p.!!!  Take advantage of their lowest diamond prices in the industry at 20% to 40% below traditional retail prices in the market today with a 30 day no questions asked money back guarantee, plus they offer extensive diamond education from expertly-trained diamond and jewelry consultants offering no-pressure advice and guidance.

Weekend Snapshot: Thanksgiving Weekend

ihop-coffee
…our thanksgiving weekend started off with a traditional turkey dinner, of course [photos on my next posts]. with just the family and a cousin and wife celebrating it with us, we have loads of left over turkey! but it’s not thanksgiving without a black friday shopping right, and here is where the shopping commenced…breakfast at IHOP.
quincy-market
…and then we took off to do our own share of the shopping madness. first stop was the nearby mall, then we showed the city to the 2. the photo above was at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. as if that wasn’t enough, saturday madness was even more exhausting as we roamed and queued at the ‘more important’ shops at the nearest outlet shopping mall. the night ended with a game of monopoly with the kids, which turned out to be so much fun mainly due to C enjoying his winning streak and my cousin goofing around all night:)…thanks again tito gino[x] and tita che[x]!
…another long weekend well spent!:), for WSS-thanksgiving-weekend
