I have been very vocal about the fact that I am one gal who doesn’t exactly have a sweet tooth. This may be due to the fact that I have had some chocolate and candy overload while growing up.¬† Shove me some chocolate cake or any other cake at that, and I will gladly accept.¬† Don’t get me wrong though.¬† This does not mean that if you offer me a candy that I will ignore it.¬† I do eat candies and chocolates once in a while, but most of the time a bite or two does the trick already.¬† Most especially if these confections are nicely wrapped in a red or pink [or a combination of the two] gift box or wrapper combined with a dozen or so of fresh white tulips!¬† Hmmm, I hope M reads this soon.¬† In a few days it is Valentine’s Day once again.¬† I can still remember last year, I received white tulips for this very special day and S got herself a red rose from her dad as well.

If M does read this, I just might convince him to check out some lovely Valentine’s Day Gifts to consider this time. I love the Be Mine Valentine Tulip Bouquet that comes in a beautiful tall rectangle shaped glass vase, for free! And this time, I want them red too! Pair that with the True Love Godiva Chocolates Heart Tower and that will surely make my day. Get the hint?

They said Massachusetts has the worst drivers in the country. Is that true? Maybe. But not me, i don’t really think i fall into that category. So I just can’t understand why I’m going through all these again. I have successfully passed the one in New York and if you ask me, I am more scared to drive there than here. I have no other choice but to oblige, and I just did. This morning, i took the written exam and thankfully passed it. Yay! If only I can get through the long wait in the registry’s automated number just to schedule my road test!@#ET$%$^&!!!!!! what is wrong with this system??? i just cannot comprehend this anymore! but then again, i have no choice right? right! so wish me luck again! at least to get a schedule and for now, i am happy that i have a valid learner’s permit…

I was talking to my aunt last night who resides in Florida. I actually told her about the on going free cosmetics at popular malls around the country. Although she got really excited, she said she might not be able to go since they are having guests and they are bringing them to Miami. Miami! wow! I have never been to that part of Florida and I have heard so much about it…the beaches, the sunset, the famous mansions of famous people. This is the best time to book for Flights To Miami and almost everywhere since it is winter time, not to mention the fact that a lot of people are cutting down on extra expenses like airfares, but I think we deserve this vacation and it won’t hurt checking!

..oh i just hate it! in the middle of all the things i have to think of and prioritize right now, this is what i have to deal with! i have been going back and forth to the Registry of Motor Vehicle simply to convert my New York license, to no avail. it turns out i need to take both the written and road test again! i just don’t think that makes sense since I already passed the test previously, only in another state. apparently they do convert but not in my case, a temporary visitor! and i actually have 2 choices…one is to get that TEMP word out of my current license [which has a 100% rate of improbability because i am in fact just a temporary visitor until now] and yes you guessed it right…take the tests again! isn’t that just…$&*#@$#$^$^&!!!!! anyway, i just hope i at least pass it again if not get the perfect score that i had last time!:[ and of course next will be the road test! another #@%#$&^^#@!!!! awwwww! wish me luck, anyways!!!!

You know what I am currently drooling about? Most of you will know that it’s the kitchenaid artisan stand mixer, but other than that, there’s one more thing.¬† Probably the reason why I am still dilly-dallying with the mixer.¬† It’s a memory foam mattress topper for our beds, especially my bed.¬† Oooohhh! This is just the most luxurious addition to any bed and I’m checking out great deals from Shopster. They currently have an on-going New Year price cut of up to 25% on most items. This is very timely as I have to find the perfect topper soon before we finally move to our new place and the dropship promotion ends on February 15!

medallion
…the last of the bunch. while the first batches that we had these Steak Medallions wrapped in bacon from Omaha Steaks were cooked almost well done giving it a dryer texture and taste, i made sure that this one has more moisture that gives out a subtle milkish taste to the meat. grilled just how i like my steak…medium rare…

¬†Oh I miss Florida most especially during these cold winter days and we just might do that soon, and for our lodging and accommodation there’s Naples Florida vacation rentals to take care of that for me.¬† It is after all the state that has the perfect climate closest to what we have back in the Philippines, so I’d settle for that right about now.

clementine-smoothie
ever since the holiday season, we have been buying boxes of these sweet and succulent clementines especially because the kids love them so…
[kaya lang wala nang masyadong mabili nito sa ngayon...]
once we even bought a new batch even if we still have some left at home, and so the over ripe ones turned into this refreshingly good clementine smoothie made by M…
[sa kahiligan ng mga bata dito, minabuti naming bumili ng panibagong kahon maski na mayroon pang natitirang ilang piraso sa bahay, at sa kahinugan ng mga ito...minabuti ni M na gawin itong masarap na inumin!]

clementines

…an entry to LP-kahel with an ORANGE theme!

…a variety of the mandarin orange, a clementine is an oblate, medium-sized citrus fruit. The exterior is a deep orange colour with a smooth, glossy appearance. Clementines separate easily into eight to fourteen juicy segments. They are very easy to peel, like a tangerine, but lack the tangerine’s seeds. Clementines are also known as seedless tangerines, although occasionally they do contain a few seeds.

cold-and-dry
this is how i’m feeling these past few days, but the sun is peeking out there and bringing a glimpse of something to look forward to, right? sometimes it even feels like i am gazing through a Nikon rifle scopes just to see that shining light that’s been missing for quite some time now…or is it?

…an entry to Wordless Wednesday!
