a new venture

Yesterday I mentioned all things will fall into place, slowly but surely they will. I know, I can feel it and I am guided…thankfully, in many ways than one. I also mentioned that I did not want to go into details, as of yet. But I think I can just squeal just one today. You see, in the five years that we’ve been stationed here in the United States, my status is set to dependent. That means I cannot be employed until such time M gets sponsored and our current H1-B [for M] and H4 [for me and the kids] visas gets processed into permanent residency status. Needless to say…I miss working. I miss dressing up in the morning and being in the work force.
But there is one thing we, dependents or H4 visa holders are allowed to do. That is, we are allowed to have our own business and this is what I have been thinking about lately. I should be starting something that will help us financially. But what is that? How can I make it into reality? First and foremost, this venture should be something that I truly love doing. Otherwise, I am almost 100 percent positive that whatever it is, it won’t be much of a success in the long run. You can read more about this where it emphasizes the importance of loving the job that you do or a business that you put your mind and heart into. Now, this is some information that I need to read on some more. Plus this website has a whole lot of how-to articles that might be of help in my current ‘fling’ and who knows, maybe it’ll help you too!
