bistek tagalog with ’shrooms

…what do you do when you are short of ingredients? well in this case the main ingredient…the beef strips for some old school bistek or beef steak, Pinoy style. extenders! and it’s a good thing i had a can of sliced mushrooms. so it’s like the Chinese beef and mushroom dish with a Pinoy twist. same taste, same comfort…with just an added ooommph! bottom line? enough amount of beef or not, i’m doing this again!
