blog away and get paid
This online journal has been up for almost 4 years now and was initially my way of babbling and showing off my adventures in the kitchen. As I would like to put it, I cook to blog or blog to cook. Whichever comes more important, I think this has helped me a lot in terms of improving my craft in cooking, baking, writing and it even helped me further develop the creativity in me. In short, all these years blogging has always been just a hobby…a past time and a learning ground. For that, I am most thankful for.
Until I learned recently about the opportunity that I can actually get paid to blog. Little did I know that this can turn into an income generating hobby, and now it is in fact a job! Well, if you consider working in the comfort of your own home, while watching hilarious Ellen on The Ellen de Generes Show or even The Late Night Show with David Letterman…or while eating or simply lounging snugly on a comfy sofa. Well, that’s how it is for me! I earn while in my jammies on! How incredible can that be? I even get to spend half the day with my 2 kids after school, whether doing homework with them or watching their favorite kids show. It’s all in my hands, so to speak when and where and how I want to work. This, I must say…is another something to be grateful about especially for someone like me who is a stay at home mom of growing kids. Having lived in the United States for almost 5 years now, blogging has been my constant companion. It is something that takes the home sickness blues on the side most of the time because it has been keeping me pre-occupied. At the same time, I am also enjoying what I now consider as work…which is how it should be, right?
Learn more about getting paid for blogging and who knows, you might just find it as fascinating as I see this as a serious stuff of play that coincides with work.
