Calling Home

Rarely do I call my mom in the Philippines, not for anything but for the simple reason that I find it hard to get easy access to phone cards here in Quincy and from previous experiences, the ones I used to buy from the delis in New York simple do not meet ones expectations, from a supposedly 45 minute call at $5.00, it ends up at 20 minutes only, that is if you’re lucky.

This is why when I found out about this online calling cards retailer, boy was I glad! They offer high quality phone cards at very low rates, whether it’s domestic, long distance or international calling within and from the United States. Calling the Philippines, I have a choice among 235 prepaid cards and there’s no connection fee, starting from 1.3 cents per minute. It’s very simple and affordable where one gets to choose between a rechargeable & pinless or a prepaid or non-rechargeable access. Isn’t that amazing?
