i know it seems so cliche to say it’s due to personal reasons…that on slacking on my blogs once again. but the main reason was that my website has been crashing down on me for about a year now due to my blogging platform which is the oldest WP version, ever! i wasn’t successful in all my attempts to upgrade to a newer and better version and this caused more problems in the whole site sending me errors here and there, until last week when Iska helped me out to fix it and now i am so happy to say i have the newest WP version, ever! yay! we actually had to do a temporary website, moved all my files and some SQL fixing up that i cannot do myself…and finally moving back the said files here.  some double checking if anything is at all missing from posts to comments to pages,etc…and voila!  a whole new world!!!

…one of life’s greatest upside. a gift worth treasuring. just glad that my daughter found this beautiful friendship early on in her life. what they have is so special that even studying in different middle schools cannot break that special bond. love seeing them together last Sunday, doing what they do…and Vicky giving Sam that hug when it was time for her to go home. and as she walked out, Samia said…’maybe in college we’ll be in the same school again.’ maybe…:)

i’m not a worrier, neither am i a warrior….if that’s good or bad, i am not sure. what i’m positive about is that—life is good. i know it is.

he set of photos where this shot is a part of, is the root of all evil…so to speak, of my recent heartache. the pain of losing a whole lot of good photos in the perfect setting, perfect subject is simply heart stabbing, mind wrenching pain!!! i tell ya! needless to say, i was oh so mad and sad the past days because of this and up until today i just can’t get over it. that said, i have decided to head back to Plimoth Plantation which is a trip to…

..anyway…back to the photo. to make a long story short…this shot was one of the reasons why my files had to be deleted from the SD card that day. thinking i have already saved them on my hard drive. we went to this kite fest last Sunday for some family fun in the sun.oh it’s such a whole twisted story really.. i have 3 SD cards…all full. my card reader went dead.  i moved the photos from the said card through a USB, direct from the camera..for the very first time.my hard drive and external hard drive boinked on me too, losing space to save up files.i saw the photos…all of them in one particular folder! they were really good, if i should add. at least as far as i’ve seen in the few seconds i had to view them before we headed out.needless to say, i was rushing out and it sort of prompted me about the memory not enough to save [even send to recycle bin!] so it asked me if i want some files deleted permanently, and yes you guessed it right…i clicked yes. thinking the files are safe in one folder!!!! d’uh!!!!siguro, i just need to pour this all out by blogging about it…gaya ng ginagawa ko ngayon, para makalimutan ko na ang kaga—lingan ko! hahaha! anyway…napalitan naman ng ibang kasayahan ang lahat ng nangyari…sa pamamagitan nitong araw na ito…that was well spent. with the FAMILY! and well documented. more photos to come!

…marahil ang tanong ninyo ngayon ay…ano ang ginagawa ng pagmumukha ng anak ko dito sa temang ito? simple! isa sa mga disadvantage ng pagiging self-proclaimed mommyrazzi ay ang katotohanang ang mga anak natin ay sawang sawa nang naririnig ang pangalan nila para lamang makunan sila ng larawan. maya maya, paulit ulit. smile, look…ayaw na ayaw na nilang marinig yang mga katagang yan! hindi ba totoo? as in!!! kaya naman ang picture na ito ay nagbigay ng kaligayahan sa akin, dahil paminsan minsan sinuswerte ako na para bagang may instant SWITCH ON ang mga anak ko at bigla nalang silang makikisama sa kanilang mommy, and i get to capture these precious moments…so to speak. sarap ng pakiramdam!…pero may isa pa akong lahok! eto ang aking paboritong gadget ever! ang aking ever reliable Iphone……isang pindot lamang dito, kung saan saan na ako nakakarating! mapa umaga pag gising…sa gabi, bago matulog…maging sa gitna ng gabi kapag ako ay nagising, kinakapa ko ito sa ilalim ng unan ko at ..hello! PINDOT ulit! hehe!lahok para sa Litratong Pinoy…PINDOT/SWITCH!

…the cinnabuns made recently, all by herself. yes it may be another out of the tin goody but i can’t help but still be proud. from popping the tin, arranging in the cookie sheet, turning on the oven! and taking them out..to serving a piece to her mom..me! all on her own.

humuhusay na rin lumangoy maski na wala pa syang pormal na training. isa sa mga activities na tunay namang na-e-enjoy nilang dalawang magkapatid.

Happy, Happy Birthday again and again to my li’l S! She just turned 11…and whadayaknow! Summer vacation officially ended yesterday.

I don’t really have a very decent photo entry for this week’s theme, so pardon this mobile shot taken a few hours ago. My daughter, S and her friend on their way to their new school. This marks a great milestone for her since she goes up to Middle school too!

As always, mas excited at mas kinakabahan pa ang mommy kaysa sa mga anak! haha! and i can’t wait until i get to pick them up in a couple more hours!

Lahok para sa …na may temang, LANSANGAN.  Hindi nga ba’t masusuwerte pa rin tayong maituturing because we have the opportunity to send our kids to school?…at hindi sila matatagpuan na naglipana lamang sa lansangan?

…today marks the first day of their summer vacation! yippeeee!!! and my little girl is soon off to Middle School! we definitely slept it in until about 9 or 10. blame it on those chirping birds on this lazy overcast day! add to that the fact that my little man is all snuggled and all over me! i specifically asked them to sleep with me last night since i don’t want to wake up all by myself in bed on this first day of the summer break.

last night though, i caught my daughter doing some school work! the first batch of the math packet that she has to do the whole summer due for submission as she enters 6th grade! i guess she’s already missing school eh?
