don’t you just hate it when you park in a winding garage building and by the time you are itching to go home, you end up going around and around and instead of heading out you find yourself way on the top level? okay not as bad as the top level, but at least halfway through the garage? and that is annoying really. it usually happens to me when i am in a rush and too excited that i completely forget to look out for the exit signs!!! hahaha! but i should point out here that there should be clearer and bigger signs out there! most importantly in dark and crookedly winding garage buildings.

My ideal kitchen would be one that has all my cooking and baking needs and this includes lots and lots of cupboards around it not to mention a separate food pantry. There will be a number of open shelving too to showcase some of my gadgets and china, may not be fine but pretty enough for displaying nevertheless. Let us not forget the finishing touches such as the kitchen counter and backsplash finishing materials which in my preference would be mosaic glass tiles.

There would be some of you who would prefer marble or granite I know, but for me these are less appealing at the moment. I consider them a thing of the past. If I were to design at this moment even my bathroom tiles will have mosaic in it in say, blue and green theme! They are very durable, easy to maintain and as I’ve mentioned aesthetically appealing. The idea would be to make everything else as clean cut as possible, very modern..very minimalist with white fixtures, chrome and mirror accessories and some wooden accent touches. The focal point would be these beautiful floor, wall and counter top treatments in calm and spa-inspired patterns and colors.

You are not exactly limited to using these tiles for indoor use as they are also resistant to harsh outdoor element and these would do well on swimming pools and even subway tiles will look better with these just like in the subways I see in the city.

in less than 3 weeks, we will all be back to the grind, that of waking up earlier than 11am haha! and getting breakfast ready, preparing the kid’s for school, dropping them off at 8 and getting them at 2. that’s how it my daily routine has been for years now. not that i am complaining, but it would be really nice if i can get back to the work force soon, even part-time. the very reason why i am contemplating on going back to school myself, keeping myself busy even through an Online School. this way i will be so much ready for job hunting once i am legally allowed to work in this country. i just can’t wait for that day! or at least get a business of my own started!!! and by then, the kids will be old enough that i won’t feel bad about leaving them behind while i find extra cash.

..i think my son would be a darn good lawyer someday, even a politician we used to say when he was younger! haha! he’s got it in him, more particularly the way he gets away with everything. well that’s speaking from the mother and father…:) a lawyer in the family wouldn’t hurt so as early as now it would be good to train him and uncover the world of law to him. wow! i am getting old!!! next thing you know, we’ll be talking about going to school in another state [no!!! i don't want that! huhuhu!] graduation, girlfriends…marriage, grand kids!!!! yikes!!! hahaha!!!
anyway…a good school and lsat prep course are a must in fulfilling this, if he really wants to pursue law. there are other online courses around but they say Knewton is the best compared to Kaplan, Powerscore and Princeton. they have live office hours that you can reach anytime you need them and they offer a money back guarantee whereas the others don’t. practice at your own schedule wherever, whenever…but it’s like attending a virtual class and learn the ropes from the experts!

now that i’ve hit the big 4-OH, sadly…haha, the more i am getting all fidgety in revising our daily health habits and that involves eating the right food, inquiring on medicare supplement plans, getting more religious in our newly found regular family exercise that we all enjoy, which is swimming. it’s been a month since we registered in the city school’s pool rec area and it has done us good. one thing, Chino had the chance to get free basic swimming lessons for 3 weeks and more importantly, M is getting his much needed exercise that the Doctor is requiring him to do. my daughter gets to practice her basic swimming abilities and that goes for me too, plus factor would be losing some weight and flab soon! that i am so looking forward to! i aim to do all these right after this crazy busy yet fun weekend in CT!!! i hope!!! haha!

they say Florida is a lovely state to be in for retirement, what with it’s perfect weather all year round and the beautiful beaches that surrounds it. who wouldn’t be considering living in that, right? i have been there once but it’s going back specifically indulging in Orlando vacations is one thing that’s part of my future to do list. in fact i want this summer to end with that in mind!

that was one quick July! whew! it just slipped by so fast and now it’s August and soon we will all be hurrying back to our old schedule and focusing on school once again. it just feels like we haven’t had the feel of enough summer fun as of yet. and we’re just starting now that we’ve been spending more time in the pool and Chino’s been doing swimming lessons. our huge yard has been bare still and i haven’t found the wooden swing set and wooden picnic table that i have been dreaming of putting there. this is just part of my plan to make the outdoor space that we have converted into my very own photography studio, al fresco. hmmmm… one day.

working early today was a good idea. i’m out here by the deck, laptop, iphone and planner in tow. yes, it pays to get up early while the kids are still snoozing, no distractions whatsoever…not to mention the bright and warm weather that fills this hump day morning. up until the dump truck drove by…one word—nasty! now i’m back inside and cannot seem to focus back into that work mode i had a few minutes ago. i guess it’s time to attend to chores chores chores. laundry, dirty dishes, breakfast..the works. this makes me miss my extra helpers back in the old house..the dishwasher and the Insinkerator disposals. what i would give to get them installed in this new one. soon!!!

…it has been years since i declared myself a hands on mom when we moved here in Boston. i used to work part-time back in New York and it’s not everyday that you find the perfect job in terms of schedule wherein one can actually say she has a career while taking care of her kids full-time. getting in and out of work while the kids are in school was the most ideal way to be in the work force. sometimes i wish i had that luxury again because i cannot imagine myself not attending to the needs of my kids because i need to clock in and out from 9-5. but it is an option still and it might take going back to school once again and taking up a medical assistance program or any medical related field would be the most practical one at this point. not my passion, but practical.

in a month we will be attending my niece’s wedding in Connecticut and i can’t wait! for one thing, Chino will be a ring bearer again. and more importantly, my cousin [the bride's mom] asked me to do the photos too together with another photographer. i have covered a wedding once and i want to do this one better, of course. i think i have the better camera gears now to accomplish this, so i am hoping the pictures will turn out really good. this only means one thing, i have no other option but to dress up in my semi-formal attire specifically bought for a formal event that calls for bending, climbing, twisting and crouching in my quest to take good pictures, to say the least. this attire that i have is a one piece black pantsuit ensemble. that being said, it is a stretch fit, pull-on one piece haltered top cinched at the waistline! yikes!!! if you know me well, work or play, i dress the part as best as i could. comfort really comes second hehe…this leads me to the conclusion that this calls for another round of apidexin reviews browsing!!! i need to lose a few inches here and there, ASAP!!! double yikes!!! and i don’t think simple exercise regimen will just do the trick.
