..we’ve been trying to consolidate all our credit cards into a single account. trying. yeah. i still need to find the best banking institution with a good credit card processing. fast. that way, we can get rid of all our existing cards with the highest APR’s! it seems that we are just paying for interest all these time and our credit hasn’t gone down for years!

Now that I have 2 kids who are wearing specs, I must find the best discount prescription glasses around. Compared to the Philippines it just costs way too much here! A single pair would only be around $30 there but her it averages to about $150! That’s 5 times more! It would’ve cost me less to order from Manila in fact including shipping and handling. Maybe next time.

What is hcg diet? It claims to help one lose a pound a day. Wow! that is unimaginable for me. Maybe it works, maybe not. I don’t really know but for me it’s still better to stick with losing weight slowly, but surely. i don’t mind waiting weeks or even months, in fact as long as i burn some of these unwanted fat here and there. i am not that heavy anyway, i just need a little intervention in some areas, so to speak:)

..is it a day for summing up my hates? i guess, hee! spring is considered as the loveliest, most comfortable season among all four. i cannot argue with that. except for the fact that not all of me agree, ask my sinus! it begs to differ and says, the pollen and allergy tango isn’t her thing. just the other day i woke up sniffing and and sneezing. i should definitely get more information on allergy bedding solutions soon! achoo! excuse me!!! there goes my sinus having a bad day again!

..guess? yes! it’s getting too tanned! i just notice that in spite of the sun screen, my skin doesn’t get away from getting darker at the very least if not burnt. mostly on my face and shoulders because i lurvve lurvve wearing tank tops and spaghetti straps. maybe i should also consider finding the best wrinkle cream since this tanning might lead to aged skin sooner or later too, which isn’t good. not yet anyway, haha!

yesterday my husband asked me what the small circular sort of bite he has on his calf. i said must be..a bite! that’s all i can really think of because he said it itches. he’s sort of anal about getting all these skin issues due to his diabetes. i hope it’s not eczema or anything, but it’s still better to have it checked, just to avoid future complications.

..we’re going on another road trip today. meeting up with relatives in Connecticut and staying for the night! yeah! miss them and let’s get ready for some wine and cheese tasting! tasting only? i don’t think so haha! but i need to get rid of this pounding headache first! yikes…feels like i should have some prenatal vitamins even! it’s that bad. must be the wine last night and a whole day spent with Mr. Washing Machine! sheesh!

..diet, that is. a pound lost per month, now I can take that. For as long as I lose some weight, right? I just need to get rid of a few extra fats anyway, so I can go ahead try alli diet pills to make it in time for bikini season! yeah right! but seriously, this must be it! slowly but surely.

I cannot believe how hot and summer-like these past days have been! Not that I’m complaining, I love the warm weather better than freezing cold winter days. Today at nearly 90 degrees F though, it’s a bit not as comfortable that I think I’m turning on the aircon in a few.  I guess it’s human nature that we want things that aren’t there because I am imagining myself dancing in the rain right now! Well a dip in a plush hotel pool will do too! hee! But I cannot get over the fact that we spent days where our living room was soaked because of the non-stop rain, and a 2 feet high flooded basement to boot!!! geesh!

This brings me to dedicating this day looking for the perfect rain water barrel.We have a very wide side and backyard that is also accumulating water whenever it rains so hard for a few days. This house really has too many problems that needs to be dealt with soon otherwise it will one day give in and I want that done still in an artful way. Sometimes one can’t help but think of accidents that we cannot control. I know that we can always be cautious and protective especially to our kids but accidents happen as much as we don’t want them to. We can only pray for protection every single day. This leaves me to the conclusion that we should also consider getting a disability insurance for each of us. This is only another assurance that if unavoidable circumstances come [i hope not, of course], we are at least prepared and can get the help we need financially.
