…these overcast sky photos were taken one of those unpredictable days in Virginia during our very recent spring break trip there.   the reason why we weren’t really able to go to other planned trips around the area. it was a rainy week, it turned out…which ruined our much anticipated visit to Virginia Beach…and a return to Washington DC.

…i wanted to test the new toy for some night shots and this is how it turned out…just a few minutes after the sun has set. in the parking lot while waiting for M who was buying something in CVS.

..and here’s another angle. same location. and i’m quite happy with the outcome of these photos and probably i got the correct settings for shots like these. now, i need to get away for some more photo ops…probably somewhere warmer.

Last Sunday was family day and fortunately we ha d a feel of pre-spring too at about 60’s. We took advantage of this and went straight to the Wollaston Beach after church and some grocery shopping. The bright and sunny sky cooperated well enough for me to take this picture and some. What came afterwards was even better…a lovely lunch at the Clambox! Delicious!
