I love modern furniture! I may not have the talent to design and all the more build these products, but I have the passion for owning and having them in my house. The moment we got our own place, I knew what type as to look, color and feel of furniture I wanted. I didn’t care much on its functionality so long as it serves its main purpose, i.e, a dining table that can be a “do anything” table (working, meeting, reading, studying) beyond mealtimes or a bed that is sturdy enough and with the design that I like. I came across a lot of designs, designers, suppliers, websites and finally found what I really liked! I wanted modern design!
For young couples or single men/women who have started to brave the world by becoming independent and bought their own place, I strongly recommend that they choose contemporary furniture. It’s sleek, simple, and very minimalist. One of my favorites is the jigsaw large bookcase found in the living room in dark wood tone or Wenge (All of my furniture are actually in dark wood!).
