that day at the thrift store was meant for hunting cheap and authentic retro stuffs for my o-going kitchen project. It was even unplanned if not for a commissioned supposedly tire trouble task. the car repair shop being located right across the Goodwill store where cheapskates like me get all hyped when it comes to scavenging for good household seconds, I decided to take that turn and try my luck on whatever I can find. whilst inside, I was actually liking what I was seeing all around me on that particular morning and as I held on to a couple [yes 2 of them on each hand] of vintage film camera toys, my eyes can’t keep still on one item in that glass shelf. sure enough as I did a quarter turn to my right, my gaze went vertical… lo and behold! a guitar! not the toy guitar from Walmart that I was so ready to settle with to get for my very-eager-to-learn-to-play little man, but a real, smaller than regular sized one… with a brand! you should see me grabbing it…all adrenalin pumped up with a this-is-mine!!!-mine!!-mine!!! look as I lovingly clutched it to my chest! all I can think of is the never ending I-love-you and tightest hugs as I hand it to my precious C and decided to get a cart and continue with my journey…hunting!

..these may just be a few reasons why i am back to the blogosphere, not just with daily photo posts as i have been left with doing for months now..but with WORDS… more than words, even.
i thought to myself…wouldn’t it be nice to share my mini adventure yesterday? of course! and whadayaknow! Bernadette 4 hours earlier, did just that! whew! great save there, NFF! okay nuff with that NFF haha!

—just because. i liked how it sounded and i was watching the movie too that starred Angelina Jolie. Quite a different AJ i must say, which is a bit of a surprise…not the usual perky, girl interrupted “I am still at heart—and always will be—just a punk kid with tattoos” kind. Very unexpected character and acting.

i just realized, i haven’t used this age-old adage…rolling down memory lane. it must be spot on to do so right at this minute since i am listening to an old old track in my iTunes. what track? You Should Know By Now by Angela Boffil is ne of them. yeah! that old huh? but it feels good to listen to something like this on a day such as today. half day for the kids, no extra-curricular activities scheduled, cheerleading practice was cancelled due to a kinda muggy with spurts of drizzle here and there and then some sun and then cloud again, just had wonderful and filling lunch with the 2 and so ready to crash! oh! yeah, homework first so i am trying to work myself too…and then, I crash!

not sure if this mood music is helping me concentrate more on work or it’s just making me more melancholic on this very bed weather! i decided to switch the channel to the music station urrmmhh…soundscapes to be precise, so i won’t be tempted to watch another chick flick. i just finished watching The Women and it was a feel good movie. not bad, i must add. even my Facebook status says…don’t be bitter, it leads to botox! —one of the one-liners from the movie that caught my attention and i find it perfect for a status update. and here i am supposedly talking aboout work right? oh c’mon it’s just one status! 
ok..now back to work…

to blogging that is. this website, wait, in fact all 3 of my websites have not been receiving a drop of TLC until today. haha! i have been losing the drive to write and slacking on my cooking too! there’s only one thing that pushes me now and that is photography. that being said, i still cannot afford to post new photos on my photography website. but i will. promise. today so far started off good. the proper mind set, a schedule that needs to be followed strictly!!! abstaining from FB’ing!!! and put the word procrastination in the deepest and farthest end of the ocean!!! now for that schedule…
..i apologize for the spam messages that my gmail account sent out, again. gah!!!!:( and it turns out it’s not just me who’s been affected by this…

Mharia Maiylah i was asked to change my password, too. so far, i don’t think my account has forwarded any of those messages. i think. lol. found 11 spammy messages that couldn’t be sent and deleted those kaagad.

Jv Duque Just don’t click on and messages that have links. Specially if its from an unknown source. But if it came from a friend, but suspicious title and link, ask your friend before opening it if they sent it. Change passwords, clear cache and browsing history regularly. Check your account settings for any suspicious things in there like an unknown secondary email and remove them.

There are a lot of spamming applications on FB most specially those that you have to click “LIKE”. Those automatically add an application to your account that automatically sends to your friends etc etc. You can go to Application Setting…s on FB and check those applications under “Authorized”, you’ll be surprised you may have a lot of applications “Authorized” to give out your info that you never even added on your account. Delete those from the list, clear cache and browsing history, change password too. Then check again after restarting another browsing session.See More
