…i just want to share with you guys…i did it! i passed the road test today. and as the examiner said, with flying colors! yay! never mind the flying colors, but i am just oh so relieved that it’s done and over with. i have been driving for years and years in the Philippines, in Brunei, in the Philippines again, in New York and here in Massachusetts…i just don’t understand why i have to go through all these again. i know i know, i have been whining about this for some time now, but it just felt so good! finally, i am an official Mass driver! heeh! thank God! ayayay! i still wish it was just something like a no exam life insurance i had to go through, but then again…thank goodness i had a very good examiner too!:) not to mention the support of M who was at the back seat all throughout the test. and it felt a bit funny that he was sitting behind me this time. i’m just not used to that, i guess:]…just a thought.
that’s how i feel now. with the never ending snow and snow storms that has been hitting New England, particularly our part here in Mass! When will it ever stop? I think we have had enough of it already this year…and we are oh so ready for Spring and summer!
…how timely! i am scheduled for a road test on thursday and guess what…we are expecting 4-6″ of snow tomorrow. then it turns into sleet. now that is scary. it only means the roads will be slippery, a bit dangerous by thursday. awww! i just hope this is reason enough to consider if ever i make some mistakes? :] …i need all the luck i can get, since i don’t exactly want to have it rescheduled. i just want to get this over and done with so i can finish packing up for our saturday move! why can’t they just convert my NY license???
They said Massachusetts has the worst drivers in the country. Is that true? Maybe. But not me, i don’t really think i fall into that category. So I just can’t understand why I’m going through all these again. I have successfully passed the one in New York and if you ask me, I am more scared to drive there than here. I have no other choice but to oblige, and I just did. This morning, i took the written exam and thankfully passed it. Yay! If only I can get through the long wait in the registry’s automated number just to schedule my road test!@#ET$%$^&!!!!!! what is wrong with this system??? i just cannot comprehend this anymore! but then again, i have no choice right? right! so wish me luck again! at least to get a schedule and for now, i am happy that i have a valid learner’s permit…
..oh i just hate it! in the middle of all the things i have to think of and prioritize right now, this is what i have to deal with! i have been going back and forth to the Registry of Motor Vehicle simply to convert my New York license, to no avail. it turns out i need to take both the written and road test again! i just don’t think that makes sense since I already passed the test previously, only in another state. apparently they do convert but not in my case, a temporary visitor! and i actually have 2 choices…one is to get that TEMP word out of my current license [which has a 100% rate of improbability because i am in fact just a temporary visitor until now] and yes you guessed it right…take the tests again! isn’t that just…$&*#@$#$^$^&!!!!! anyway, i just hope i at least pass it again if not get the perfect score that i had last time!:[ and of course next will be the road test! another #@%#$&^^#@!!!! awwwww! wish me luck, anyways!!!!
in the midst of the presidential inauguration, in all it’s grandeur and erupting emotions, tears and cheers by the almost 2 million attendees for the now President Barack Obama, with a camera and/or camcorder ready, or both…where was I? what was my own agenda? we trooped to Macy’s! hahaha! why, you might ask? for some freebies! together with some other major upscale department stores like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard’s, Neiman Marcus and even Target…you can get a free make-up, fragrance and other skin care products from famous brands like Calvin Klein [just like what i got for myself...Euphoria shower and bath cream. luscious!], Christian Dior and Lancome…to name a few. this is supposedly a one week run starting today so don’t fret if you didn’t get to go today…of course while supplies last! so plan that trip to the mall soon! and hey, i did catch a glimpse of the inaugural speech btw, right there in Macy’s!
my daughter S lost her cellphone a couple of months ago in school, and guess what? it suddenly appeared on the hands of her friend’s sister! apparently it was found inside the younger sister’s backpack. after all these time? 2 or 3 months after? this is the only time she checked her backpack and found something that did not belong to her? something that we have been looking for. something that we even reported to S’s teacher and the school principal. and sorry to say, to no avail. or is it? i wonder what happens if it was some Audemars Piguet watch that got lost? whew! one thing is for sure though…i am a mother and now i realize what they meant by a mother’s instinct…
i have totally forgotten about Martin Luther King’s special day was yesterday and so it came as a big surprise to me when the little boy announced that Monday is a no school day! yay! this is in lieu of the holiday that was supposedly yesterday, making it a longer break for all. yay! yay! yay! isn’t that nice? monday morning blues covered for now…it would be good just to curl up and wake up late…but then again, i have a lot of packing to do! yikes! at least i don’t have to wake up as early as 7am and put on layers and layers of warm clothes, eh?
…awww forget about that previous post. the mixer is gone. d’oh! oh well, better luck next time and i guess that wasn’t meant for me. but what is? we’ll see…hmmm….:]
for days now, i am being haunted by the idea of getting myself the great kitchenaid artisan series stand mixer…and possibly in it’s empire red variety. *drool, drool* i.must.have.it! haha! i even tried bidding on ebay and has been outbid:[! but still tempted to check out other sets in auction. *drool, drool* anyway, i found this used yet looking like in good condition with extras...can you take a moment and check it out? and please let me know what you think...
