The two kids are still dreaming about having a bunk bed. Back in New York, this is a more ideal kind of bed for them since they share one room. Maybe it’s the fun idea of turning the lower bunk into a cave or portal is what makes it more exciting for them. I totally understand. I used to share a bunk bed too with my younger sibling, but I remember what we had back then were made of tubular metals and painted in red. Those were the days, as they say. Now I am more inclined on getting a wooden finished set instead, with a powdery white painted finish. It just seem more dainty and less dangerous. Just like this Bernard furniture 3″ post bunk beds. This is a great combination of form and function with its straight modern lines and sturdy pine construction that will ensure years and years of usage. It is available in four finishes that has a cozy look, perfect enough as a kids furniture and it easily matches many different themes even any existing decor you may already have. Now that they each have their own rooms, I am still thinking of getting a set for the little boy’s smaller room. This will be a fun addition to his furniture set because he just loves playing tent and portal game, plus a sleep over will be a breeze when you have one, even my guests will benefit from this.
