How am I supposed to watch TV with all that commotion upstairs

I just recently moved in to an apartment for the first time in my life. I am a bit of a late apartment bloomer. Most of my friends have already gone through the whole apartment thing in college and then after but not me. No, in college I lived in a dorm, a trailer (not my finest establishment), a duplex and a house. So basically I have lived in every type of dwelling short of a boat or an apartment. Well there comes a time in one’s life where you no longer want a roommate and you just want to get out on your own and have a place that is all yours. That is what I recently decided to do. It has been a really fun and rewarding experience so far. I was able to choose where I wanted to live all by myself. I get to choose my furniture, my décor, my interior design ideas but you know what I don’t get to choose? My neighbors. Unfortunately I have been stuck with rowdy, noisy upstairs neighbors. How am I supposed to watch my blessed DIRECT TV with all of that noise coming from upstairs?! Maybe apartment living isn’t all it is cracked up to be.
