it’s halloween season!
Summer just flew by and basking in the sun is over. The kids are back to school and we’re all dreading the early morning alarm signaling the time to get up and go. The days are getting shorter and temperatures are already dropping to a level where you just want to snuggle in your warm bed and as I speak, I can feel the autumn air breezing even inside the house. This only means one thing. Halloween season is also in the air.
It will be the first year that we are celebrating Halloween here in Massachusetts and I am positive that it will be a whole new experience for us compared to trick or treating back in New York. This time we wouldn’t be knocking on store doors and towering building apartments but real suburban houses. That is a huge deal especially for the kids. What would make it more exciting is that they can’t wait to buy their favorite Superhero Costumes. My daughter still can’t decide which one exactly she wants, it’s probably because of the awkward age of 10 but one thing is definite, she wouldn’t be caught wearing anything so girly-girly-little-miss outfits anymore. The boy on the other hand is set on wearing an Indiana Jones costume since he is after all, and I quote “the biggest fan of Indiana Jones”.
