Lasang Pinoy Sundays: Dimsum [freestyle]

dimsum

…Saturday mornings, more often than not is our ‘you-me-while-the-kids-do-karate’ time as a couple or something like that.  our less than an hour gastronomic date. or shall i say, our ONLY date a week if we’re lucky enough. as simple as it is,  we definitely love it and always look forward to this ‘luxury’ that we are blessed with.

LaPiS-button is a weekly thematic FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY meme, Pinoy style!

If you notice, we are still on freestyle this week as I forgot to post the upcoming themes. My apologies. So I am happy to announce that for next Sunday, our theme is all about…KIDS! so put those thinking caps on and let the child in you reign supreme!!!:)

P.S. future themes will be posted in a few and just to let you know we might be going through past themes now as I am running out of new ones for now. again, if you have any themes in mind, just give me a buzz! and if you want to host that theme or any other Sunday, let me know! Have a great one guys!!!

i love dimsums too lalo na yung lots of chili garlic dip. i love siomai, gyoza… :D

ms.Admin. as far i remember we have 2 theme that had been recalled and not used these are:

1) “drinks” (but later went to Lapis #32: HOT drinks) and
2) “loco over CHOCO” but later went to Lapis # 47: over the TOP)

tapos, lets recycle the themes “new year spread; xmas spread; easter egg hunt; we are one” to showcase our food on such occations(new year; xmas; easter and Lapis anniversary respectively)

tapos, if you heard about iron chef TV show, lets use one ingredient as a theme ingredient. i know this one is hard but its challenging isnt it and we love challenges thus we use themes diba.

as for now yan po muna.

my entry is here

Great day for us Food Weekenders:)

love that dimsum!!!

and i like jay’s idea of ala- iron chef with theme. i think it’s doable as long as we know in advance what the ingredient is (just to give us time to look for it in case it is not readily available..) :)

Dimsum, yummy! Our favorite is har gao, and for dessert taho with ginger flavored syrup. OK, now I’m hungry.:-)

Jay, wow, you remember all the “discarded” themes! I am liking the iron chef idea, that’s a good one.:-)

Here’s my LaPiS
