Lasang Pinoy, Sundays: over the TOP
May 9, 2009 at 11:59 am , by Ces
Toppings, rice toppings…to be more precise, is what this theme is all about. I remember this was a very popular way of serving fast food back in the Philippines and I must be feeling a little bit nostalgic and reminiscing on good ‘ol days. It used to be very popular especially to students and office workers as it offers filling combo meals at prices that wont hurt one’s pocket. Please indulge me as to whether this is still the case nowadays.
This PORK BINAGOONGAN on RICE on a bowl was a result of another fervent craving for an all authentic Filipino dish a few weeks ago. I tweaked it a little bit by adding steamed asparagus on the side for some palate cleansing. T’was good!:)
