Lasang Pinoy, Sundays Week#19: On a Stick!
October 18, 2008 at 12:39 pm , by Ces
Necessity led to the discovery of many things such as food. One perfect example is the need for sustenance in the ancient times. Traditional cooking over fire with the use of sticks or twigs then is the ultimate epitome of discovery and science. But then ideas have always seemed to have a life of their own leading to the luxuries we have at present…the oven, microwave oven, toasters, roasters and the likes. All these would not have been possible without this very ancient way of partaking food.
So let’s give glory this time to the minds of our forefathers who invented cooking and eating food on a stick, whether over fire, frozen or even candied just like this candy apple. I am still in search for a good candy apple recipe,in cookbooks, blogs, online recipes.
…for this week’s La.Pi.S. challenge, it’s all about food on a stick! I hope to see all your entries and please do come back here to check out all the other entries yourself! Thanks again and have a great week ahead to all!

I bet Snow White would’ve bitten into the witch’s apple more quickly had she been given this tempting treat instead!
Bet it’s delish too – though you obviously need to brush much more thoroughly after this…
My first LaPiS entry’s also up here:
