spiCes

…well whadayaknow, spiCes just turned 3!

flashback:not counting my binatog entry for Lasang Pinoy’s street food theme which was in fact done on my behalf by Mike of Lafang the very first ever post written and photographed by me was about the Ragamuffin parade of the kids @ school. unfortunately they don’t have that here in Mass but we did have a fab time trick-or-treating last night with our dear neighbor Mrs. Rambutan and kid. lotsa goodies i tell ya! anyway, that’ll have to be on a separate post…
moving on…case in point, this is the reason why I chose this theme for the week, spiCes…a cinnamon stick, ground cinnamon, basil, oregano, pepper, thyme to name a few. or…

… anything spiCy, at that. chili, hot, pungent, piquant, peppery or even gingery and zesty. i have no doubt anyone would agree that a pusitlog breakfast a.k.a. pusit, sinangag and itlog will not be complete without this tongue burning vinegar and chili dip, right? this is what we had for breakfast a while ago. after all it is my anniversary! hehehe!
anyway…in lieu of this, i am raffling off a set of this silver measuring spoons…ballot style.

Number 1 Rule: whoever gets the most referral for recruiting new members to join La.Pi.S. will be the winner! the contest runs from Nov. 2 until Nov. 29.
…the NEW members will have to post a comment on any or all 4 LaPiS announcements and mention the referrers name. by this, everyone will know exactly who the winner would be after 4 weeks.
…it doesn’t matter if the NEW member posts an entry once or 4 times during the inclusive weeks. we are counting heads not entries.
