Dearest Cecille,

I can’t control my emotions reading your very beautiful eulogy for Ate Ine. Your every word is filled with love and longing for your Mama. I still feel the same emotions for your Lolo, your Papa, your Tito Oca, your Tita Mimi and now … your Mama … our Ate.

For nine (9) days, in the house of your Lola in Gagalangin, we made sure na may nightly “padasal” even on her “40th” day. Same with my prayer community here, we had 2 Fridays of Rosario Cantada for Ate Ine … and every Friday thereafter her name is included in the list of those who have gone ahead of us.

The last time we had a long talk was during the wake of your Tito Oca in Pulilan, Bulacan. She told me endless stories about Samantha and Chino and even mentioned Chino’s winning in a game … “very smart boy” according to her. She missed them so much.

God bless you, Marco, Samantha & Chino. Please do not forget us. We will always pray for all of you. Please keep in touch. If you can give me your e-mail address and CP #, the better. A lot of times I wanted to call you or send you an e-mail but I don’t any of your contact info. I am still here in Saudi Arabia working for Saudi Aramco.

Ganyan din ang pakiramdam ko nung mamatay si daddy, kaya kahit malungkot, hindi naman ako sobrang nasaktan o nagdamdam. Ako at ang aking pamilya ay lubos na nakikisimpatya.
