playdates and brownies
…today the kids planned another play date with their friends from school. it was a spur of the moment thing since i was only informed about it when i picked them up from school. it’s a good thing though that i was really planning on baking something, although not necessarily today, but i guess it sort of shoved me to do it and quick!
…these weren’t the ones i made though :0 hehe…i made these the last time they had a play date as well and during that time, i was happy to have a box of brownie mix in the cupboard to save me from doing something from scratch just like today…but that will be on another post…
…anyway, these brownies were just good enough for kids, not the usual brand that i buy which was so much better and yields crunchier, more gooey squares than these..though i wasn’t able to take decent shots [hence the cropped shot:)] of the squares alongside my favorite coffee ice cream and topped with maraschino cherries since the ice cream melted oh so fast [it was still a lot warmer then, that's why] i still remember i enjoyed each and every scoop of still warm brownie, ice cream and cherry …in one perfect bite! well, so much more than one… teehee! so even without the extra calorific whipped cream to top it, it was still good..not as perfect but…

yummy, ces! they look absolutely divine. the cheesecake i made is still in the fridge. hee hee. buo pa din!
