Pusitlog Breakfast for Food Friday

When my sister asked if I would like some authentic danggit [dried fish] and pusit [dried squid] from Cebu when she went there days before their trip here, I did not think twice. Pusit in particular was a bit hard to find in this part of the world and even if I do, I imagine it would be a tad expensive. So she did and this PUSITLOG was one of the dishes that frequent our breakfast table during their stay. Never mind the nasty smell it must’ve caused the neighbors even with the lighted candles and oil burners, not to mention the opened windows and the stove air vent turned on. Sorry guys…

True, we light candles and aromatic oil so the smell would disperse…=D Funy how the term pusitlog rings in my ears but I know it surely would be lovable to my palate!
