The global food crisis is really affecting all of us. In some ways, it is good that even if prices go up we can still manage to buy food even if we have to tighten our budget. Because I heard in BBC news that so many people are really suffering because of this crisis. The stock of Thai Jasmine rice here was also depleted for a time so we ended up buying the parboiled (?) rice. I did not like it. Mas mahirap lutuin at hindi ganon ka sarap - like the Basmati rice, which we also bought before. Buti na lang eh may stock ulit ng rice that I am used to eating.
