…quaint shops, country houses, old America and nautical…that’s how i would describe Cape Cod. i find those old shops, small museums and the old-fashioned charm of the city particularly interesting…

…we went on a road trip again during the past weekend on a whim, a last minute decision actually mainly because we wanted to take advantage of the very pretty weather i’m afraid would not last long…this is in fact a month old promise to our dear S who celebrated her birthday last September and a ‘hotel’ vacation was what she wanted…where they can go swimming for as long as they want and order room service!

…i thought of getting her even the simplest birthday cake again and some candles, just for her to feel that this is for her birthday. so after dinner we did the birthday-song-blow-the-candle ritual…i think she was still in awe…she didn’t expect the cake at all:), well she did, she asked for it for dessert..but not the candles:]

Autumn at its best…another sight to behold on our way to and from Cape Cod was a tapestry of the fall foliage and it’s beautiful colors…these are only a few highlights of the trip and i am sure posting more photos soon so stay tuned! another weekend well-spent, and we decided we had to come back for a longer stay at the Cape…
