weekend snapshot: siesta time
…picture this, crisp white sheets …5 effervescent open windows, wind hushing, birds twittering, kids snuggled around you for a perfectly decadent sunday afternoon nap…this is THE life!

I am still here in the playroom/C’s room converted into family room/my office/sun room. I dropped the kids to school and since I have done most of the laundry and cleaning over the weekend, I have the luxury to start my day right. LOL! That is blog and surf!
We started off saturday morning by cleaning up “the” room and I decided to rearrange again, just a little redoux, spiff it up a bit with all white linens and curtains and in the process discovered that this is the best room in the house! Undeniably the one showered with most sunlight due to the number of windows, it is almost like a sun room as pictured if you can visualize it:) these are corner picture windows almost…and i feel this is where i will be seen spending most of my alone time most often now…it simply makes up all the difference in the world for me.
i am just so loving this part of our new home and thinking about our old apartment in NY, it does gives justice to the decision! incidentally, i’d like to share a video i found awhile ago in youtube
and just to make things clear, i am a huge R.E.M. fan, but this song, though still nicely written, is not necessarily a picture of my sentiments as of now…maybe some other instance in the futire, but for now, it is just not for me…enjoy it if you may!
