Weekend snapshot: under the weather
…call it being stubborn, but an ice cream on days like these when the flu virus is prevalent is such a sure way to whip ones appetite. i had a very restful day yesterday, sleeping off 5 hours for siesta on a bed weather day…it was wet, wet, wet! not exactly a good day to go out. therefore we had to find little ways in entertaining the little ones, who are getting ‘bored’, so they say. they made some maiz con hielo with the dad…topped with vanilla ice cream. sorry no photo of that.
today…this is what we had. Vanilla milkshake! this time though, it’s M who’s hit by the bug! so he’s the one taking a nap and I made this with the little ones…and fyi, it’s still raining!
