Wordless Wednesday: outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral
…other than visiting the cathedral every time I get to go back to New York, i also make it a point to take a shot of the magnificent church from outside. and almost always, at this same spot! the most recent was last august and so it was more sunny and brighter. both literally and figuratively…during that time though, they were still setting up or starting to construct that additional lighted eaves around it. now it’s all done or almost. and in my opinion, it’s a great added feature to the neo-gothic structure…a bit more of a modern touch, i must say.

It’s a favorite structure of mine too. Have you found it’s changed much over the years? I bet it’s interesting to see the buildings around it change. This is a great shot…the lights strike me…looks a little more Broadway than I would have expected to see.
